I helped design the target processes and future IT system landscape for the digitalization and automation of a mechanical production environment.
The work combined end-to-end process analysis with the definition of functional requirements, solution concepts, and criteria for selecting suitable system integrators. The goal was to create a coherent implementation roadmap rather than a collection of isolated technology measures.
Methods and focus areas: Gemba walks, SIPOC, BPMN, target-process design, requirements engineering, and stakeholder workshops.
